I like that Suzanne Collins left the true meaning behind Katniss’ vote deliberately unclear. We don’t hear what’s going through her head in those moments. We’ll never know whether she voted yes out of grief-crazed malice or as a strategic move to keep Coin on her side until the end. I believe in the latter, but there’s no right or wrong interpretation of it. Both arguments are equally valid and can be backed up by the text. It all depends on how you view the character. That’s the beauty of it.

People say I write about ordinary experiences like poetry. I am very spiritual. I breathe music and books, have an icon art gallery, ink stained fingertips, and a deep, abiding, unapologetic love for Jean Grey, Lyta Alexander and Edward Cullen.
